Things to do

The local Village of Ladignac is just within walking distance & offers a charming bar / restaurant and convenience store and bakery.

The historic market town of Chalus has a castle named Château de Châlus-Chabrol and a ruined castle named Château de Châlus-Maulmont. Châlus, with its Chateau where Richard the Lionheart met his death is just 4 KM away. Chalus has everything you could possibly need for your stay; from a 24hr petrol station, supermarket, chemist, laundrettes to numerous restaurants, bars, tabacs, bakeries and butchers and the relaxed and friendly coffee shops. Many of the shop owners and towns residents speak a small amount of English and by trying out your very best French, everyone is only too happy to help!
